I’m John! I have moved around a lot, but am originally from Missouri, and currently live in Fort Worth, Texas with my wife. I have 3+ years of experience helping brands, organizations, and businesses preserve and share their unique stories with the world.
A little about me.
My angsty teenage years were marked by video games, hours spent watching skate edits, and an endless search to find something real and meaningful in the world.
I first started taking pictures with my older sister, in an effort to express my individuality on social media behind the safety of a screen. My first videos followed shortly after when I started making my own skate edits of my friends and I. As I began to observe the world through an artistic lens, I realized that the world was not, in fact, mundane as I had once thought, but full of beautiful stories waiting for someone to tell them.
A few years later while living in LA making video content for food influencers, God opened my eyes to the greater, more beautiful Story being told since the beginning of time: the Gospel.
Often times, I’ll strip a scene of all its manufactured narrative in hopes that the viewer would experience the moment as their own. Each video deserves to be really felt, not just watched. And in that deep connection, we are invited to engage with the supreme Storyteller, Jesus!
